Maureen is a graduate of Gettysburg College in Pennsylvania, with a BA in Business and Studio Art. Maureen worked for MONY, Massachusetts Mutual, and MetLife as a Group Benefits Salesperson before becoming a full time artist, art teacher and stay at home mom.

Maureen is a Colts Neck, New Jersey native. She currently lives with her husband Jon in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of Hendersonville, North Carolina. They moved to North Carolina to be near Maureen's three daughters, Phoebe, Breanne and Chloe, who all went to Clemson University and live in South Carolina.

Before moving to North Carolina, Maureen opened a studio/gallery with another artist and operated a successful business for 3 years.
